Badges

Participant name badges will be provided at the registration desk. All participants are requested to wear the badge throughout the symposium. Only badge holders will be admitted to the sessions.

Passport and Visas

Participants are advised to contact the nearest embassy, consulate or travel agency for information about the passport and visa requirements for entry to Sweden.

Local Currency

The Swedish monetary unit is the Swedish krona (SEK).

Public transport

Arlanda Airport to Stockholm: A high-speed train called the Arlanda Express runs non-stop between Stockholm and Arlanda in 20 minutes. If you are travelling from Arlanda Airport to Stockholm city center, you can buy your ticket at the airport’s information desk or at a Arlanda Express self-service machine. Smoking policy

Sweden has a non-smoking policy. Smoking is prohibited in public buildings, public transport, taxis, buses and, trains.

In Sweden, the electrical voltage is 220/230V.

The symposium organisers are not liable for any claims for damages and/or losses if the entire symposium has to be cancelled due to a force majeure incident.

Insurance

The registration fee does not cover insurance for the participants. The symposium organisers recommend that participants take out insurance in their home country to cover pre-journey cancellation for personal reasons and necessary insurance to cover accidents, medical expenses and, loss of personal belongings.
